Activities & Services at Adult Day Centre
Everything we offer to help individuals stay active, connected, and well supported during their time with us in Cheadle, Staffordshire.
At Adult Day Centre, we believe that every day should bring something to look forward to. Our programme of activities and services is designed around the people who attend, so there is always something to enjoy, whether that is getting creative, staying active, sharing a meal, or simply spending time with friends in a warm and welcoming space.
Daily Activities at Our Day Centre
From painting to music, gardening to quizzes, our activities are designed to keep minds active, hands busy, and spirits high.
Arts & Crafts
Painting, pottery, card making, and seasonal creative projects. Our art sessions are about enjoying the process, not producing masterpieces. Everyone can take part at their own pace.
Music & Singing
Group sing-alongs, music appreciation, and occasional live entertainment. Music is one of the most popular parts of the day, and everyone is welcome to join in or just listen.
Gardening Club
Light gardening, pot planting, and tending to our indoor plants. A gentle way to get outdoors, stay active, and watch something grow over the weeks.
Quizzes & Games
Pub-style quizzes, board games, bingo, and word puzzles. A bit of friendly competition that keeps the mind sharp and always gets people laughing.
Gentle Exercise
Chair-based exercises, light stretching, and guided movement sessions. Designed to improve mobility and balance, suitable for all abilities.
Reminiscence Sessions
Sharing stories, looking through old photos, and talking about times gone by. These sessions are especially valued by individuals living with dementia.

Practical Support for Individuals and Families
We take care of the logistics so attending the Centre is as easy and stress-free as possible.
Door to Door Transport
We arrange pick-up and drop-off transport for individuals who need it, covering Cheadle and the surrounding areas of Staffordshire Moorlands. Transport runs between 8:30am and 9:30am in the morning, and 3:30pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon. Our drivers are patient, friendly, and trained to assist individuals with mobility needs.
Flexible Attendance Options
Individuals can attend from one to five days per week, depending on what works best for them and their family. We work with you to build a schedule that feels right, and it can be adjusted over time as needs change.
Personalised Care Plans
Before starting at Adult Day Centre, we work with each individual and their family to create a personalised Care Plan. This covers dietary needs, mobility, medication, interests, and anything else that helps us provide the right support.
Keeping Families in the Loop
We keep in regular contact with families. Whether it is a quick chat at pick-up, a phone call, or a more formal review, we make sure you always know how your loved one is getting on.
